Beta delayed
Posted July 28th, 2010 by CyberShadow in Uncategorized
As some of you may have heard, we were planning to release the next Beta update shortly. Unfortunately, recent circumstances have required us to postpone the release for an undetermined amount of time. We are unable to disclose the reason for the delay at the moment. We’ll continue development, though, so you can expect a more stable and feature-packed Beta when it is released.

What? I don’t understand what you posted. T17 isn’t developing WA since the 3.0 version (I think). Then came Deadcode and later joined CyberShadow, the only current developers of WA.
Worms Reloaded is going to be an another game.

@Neon
I believe anti is suggesting the reason of delay is the upcoming release of Worms Reloaded. I also suspect that that is the reason.
Big big props to DC, Cybe and the whole crew for your continued dedication. Interesting to see (forget where I read it) that this game is now as popular as when it was first released! And still growing..
Blog added to my favourites. :]

anti competitive with their own new product. entirely understandable. unfortunately W:R looks like just another lowest common denominator console port job. i am disappointed with the smell of money grab all over this. many W:A fans will probably sit this one out till it is 5 bucks or has much more content for free.

Keep up the good work, and don’t worry about delays. We’ll wait whatever is needed

Are the “recent circumstances” called ‘laser’ and ‘Sheep-on-a-rope’?
August 28th, 2010 at 4:11 pm #
Or Worms:Reloaded, because people would buy it more if W:A has technical issues

Cannot wait for the update. I have windows 7 64 bit and would rather wait for a stable release than doing the fixes that have been put out.

This sounds like a legal issue… I hope I’m wrong! I just recently discovered this site after reading about the pile of garbage that is WR. I’ll be refreshing this page daily waiting for your release.

I’m looking forward to the fixes for in-game lag caused by the background; my new video card is not fully compatible with w:a it seems.

Ah, how disheartening to see that this post was made months ago! At least 3.6.29 still works pretty well.
Well, for most people.
I do hope Reloaded isn’t the reason for the delay, even if it does seem likely. That’s just what we have to assume, so the vagueness doesn’t really help anything, if it is.
Good luck on your release, guys!

K, now you forgot to add a string for the version check –> it says nothing if you use /ver :D:D:D
